SAFE is a dark, comedic thriller about five individuals who are forced into a bank vault after surviving a violent robbery. Set entirely in the safe, the play revolves around the forced camaraderie and conflicts between the five individuals, who have little in common, save their instinct to survive. As their paranoia grows, however, so does their capacity for deception. One by one, they turn on each other, creating alliances, and revealing their true selves ultimately leading to murder and a discovery that will haunt them for the rest of their lives.

SAFE debuted Off-Broadway in 2003 to sold out houses and critical acclaim. It has since seen numerous productions in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Vancouver and Sydney. SAFE is published through Samuel French.

Part survival story, part cautionary tale, SAFE is a black comedy thriller that will keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat until the very last scene unfolds.
